Eurocom Technology Leadership

Marc Greenspan – Founder & Managing Director

Marc Greenspan is the Founder and Managing Director of Eurocom Technology, a growing, people led Vodafone franchise business operating across the North of England. He brings over 20 years of senior leadership experience in telecommunications, combining board level operational expertise with a hands on, entrepreneurial approach to retail performance and people leadership.

Marc is married with three sons, including twins aged eight and an eldest aged eleven. Family values strongly influence his leadership style and underpin the close knit, supportive culture he has built across Eurocom.

Marc’s career began in South Africa, where he held a number of Chief Operating Officer roles within the telecommunications sector. He served as COO of Tax C Talk (Pty) Ltd, followed by SimcellServices (Pty) Ltd, and later The Post Paid Company (Pty) Ltd, where he reported directly to the board and led multi layered operational teams. Across these roles, Marc was responsible for large retail and direct sales portfolios, operational delivery, commercial performance, and executive leadership.

He then joined Blue Label Connect, where he spent over seven years in senior leadership positions, including Head of Operations and General Manager. In these roles, Marc specialised in end user telecoms sales across direct marketing and retail channels, overseeing large teams, driving revenue growth, and implementing disciplined operational frameworks at scale. This experience gave him deep exposure to both corporate governance and high volume, performance driven environments. This blend of corporate structure and entrepreneurial execution directly shaped Marc’s decision to become a franchise owner in the UK.

Eurocom’s UK journey began with the acquisition of the Selby, Retford, and Pontefract stores. At takeover, Marc identified that the greatest opportunity lay in rebuilding morale and engagement. His leadership philosophy is clear: 90% of success comes from looking after people. By prioritising staff wellbeing, safety, reward, and recognition, performance improved rapidly and a strong, sustainable culture was established, one that continues to define the business today.

Following a successful first year, Eurocom expanded to Berwick, Sunderland, and Newcastle. To support this growth, Marc strengthened the management structure by appointing experienced Operations Managers Joanne Galley and Amy Douglas. This ensured consistent in store presence, close operational oversight, and effective support across the growing portfolio.

•Culture is a clear differentiator at Eurocom. The business operates as a close, family orientedorganisation with a strong emphasis on wellness, happiness, and enjoyment at work. The ethos is “hard work, hard play,” supported by strong commission structures, competitions, game days, and meaningful rewards.

Performance at Eurocom is measured holistically. Success is driven not only by revenue, but by service quality, Video Mystery Shop (VMS) results, Trustpilot feedback, and customer outcomes. Tools such as the MTS Operations System provide real-time visibility of sales, revenue, and compliance, while daily shout outs, monthly rewards, commission, and competitions ensure performance is recognised consistently.

Marc believes strongly that the ongoing challenge and strength of the business lies in balancing maximum revenue with doing what is right for the customer, the consultant, and the long-term health of the business.

Joanne Galley - Opeartions Manager South

Joanne Galley has built an exceptional and enduring career with Vodafone, spanning nearly three decades. She joined the business in 1997 as a part time Sales Advisor, quickly distinguishing herself through her natural rapport with customers, strong commercial awareness, and commitment to developing others. These qualities led to her selection for Vodafone’s fast track management programme, through which she progressed to Store Manager in 2001 and took on responsibility for her first store in Worksop.

Over the following years, Joanne continued to build a range of experience across multiple Vodafone Direct stores, operating in a variety of trading environments and leading teams through periods of change, growth, and transformation. This exposure gave her a deep understanding of retail operations, performance management, customer experience, and people development. When Vodafone transitioned to a franchise model in September 2019, Joanne’s experience and credibility positioned her as a key leader during this significant organisational shift.

Following Eurocom Technology’s acquisition of Retford in November 2023, Joanne chose to remain with the business, demonstrating her continued loyalty to the Vodafone brand and her belief in Eurocom’s values and vision. In November 2024, she was appointed Franchise Operations Manager, a role that brings together her operational expertise, leadership capability, and passion for developing high performing teams.

In her current role, Joanne thrives on working closely with store teams to drive sustainable performance, operational excellence, and consistency across the estate. She plays a pivotal role in ensuring that stores operate smoothly day to day, while also embedding standards, supporting managers, and fostering a positive, inclusive culture. Joanne strongly believes that commercial success is built on engaged, supported, and well led people, an approach that aligns closely with Eurocom Technology’s transparent, ethical, and people first ethos. This philosophy has contributed to consistent month on month growth over the past year and a strong sense of shared ownership and achievement across the business.

Having witnessed almost 30 years of evolution within the telecommunications industry, Joanne brings valuable perspective on how customer expectations, technology, and retail behaviours have changed over time. From the rapid proliferation of smart devices to the increasing importance of connectivity in everyday life, she recognises that the next major shift will be the mainstream adoption of AI enabled technology.

Joanne is particularly passionate about ensuring that our Eurocom teams are equipped to make new technology simple, relevant, and accessible, empowering customers of all ages and backgrounds to confidently embrace innovation.

Joanne lives in Yorkshire with her two sons, Jacob and Spencer, and her three cockapoos Daisy, Frank, and Poppy. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with family and friends, often accompanied by good food and wine.
